Abstract

Mobile banking apps are a convenient way for customers to access their bank accounts and carry out financial transactions on the go. However, despite their increasing popularity, there is growing concern about the usability of mobile banking apps in developing countries. This paper reviews the literature on the usability of mobile banking apps in developing countries. The paper also discusses the factors that affect usability, as well as the opportunities for improvement in user-centered design, localization, and usability testing. The review concludes by suggesting that banks and financial institutions can improve the usability of their mobile banking apps by conducting usability testing with users and focusing on improving the interface and functionality of their apps.
